My days, it's been a while. I hope this post finds you happy and healthy. This is going to be more of an update and an informative letter from me to you.
Scripture tells us that fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. From our dependence on Christ, our strength will come.
I feel like the word homestead brings on a whole host of emotions. Should we stick to the traditional definition of what makes a homestead?
Someone will view you as being a lazy person, and others may think of you as uneducated or unable to get a job outside the home. There may be the ones, like your in-laws, who see you as unwilling to contribute to the household income – expecting your husband to carry the financial burden on his own.
I went into this with 100% rose-colored glasses on. Growing and harvesting your own food is not just a sustainability thing, it’s a getting closer to God thing for me.
Being a wife is hard. Being a mom is hard. And when those two things make up your entire life, LIFE is hard. Each season brings with it a different kind of hard
