Sharing is caring!

Welcome Friend, I’m glad you’re here!

I’m Victoria, known as Tori by those who’ve known me all my life.

I am a daughter, sister, wife, and mother. I am also the writer and content creator here behind Roots & Arrows Homestead. My days are spent raising 4 littles and trying to find my way on this side of heaven. I am learning to grow a garden, cook from scratch, and pursue a more intentional lifestyle. My goal for this space is to make it feel like you’ve come over to my home and we’re sitting in our comfy chairs and chatting over a cup of coffee.

Join me as I turn my waiting room into my classroom!

Some of my passions are literature, writing, nature photography, cooking, and learning new things (like gardening). I am also a Christian and sharing about my faith in Jesus through my work is important to me. If I’m not studying for my English: Creative Writing degree then I’m reading/studying my Bible. Other than that, you might find me researching about how to garden or about how to grow my blog as a business. I’ve got many passions in life, but I don’t see that as a bad thing, just a little more challenging.

2023

This year (2023), my plan is to get our little outdoor garden up and running with some of the main ingredients that we currently depend on grocery stores for. There is a dream of moving our small home garden to some acreage in the future. I know I have a lot to learn, and let me tell you, I am here for it.

My prayer is that since you are joining me at the beginning of this journey, you will be patient with me as I figure out how to grow this blog and my new YouTube channel. Both of which I am very excited for.

So, grab a coffee, pull up a chair, and join me at the table as I bring you along for the ride.

Thank you for being here,

Tori

Over the years, I have always loved photos of God’s beauty in nature. Most of the photos you will see on this blog I have had the privilege of capturing myself. If some were sent to me by family and friends, I’ll let you know! I love that these photos can now find a spot here on my website. Kind of my way of getting back to my roots and finding my home away from home.

Trips to the mountains with my family are some of the best memories I have.

I love when I get to take photos like these two!

So happy my Mom could send me these beautiful mountain trip photos since I couldn’t be there! Thank you, Mom!
